And so we come to the last preview for this batch of preview content from The Elements and Beyond. One of the three upcoming compendiums planned, The Elements and Beyond is focused on not just the classic four elements, but the powers of the natural world and the planes surrounding it, and will contain not just dozens of new spells, but spellcaster specialization feats, new elemental subclasses and "beyond" subclasses like this one, and even races like the Pixie!

The College of Journeys is today's special surprise from The Elements and Beyond that I hinted at earlier in the week. This bard subclass began with a vision of teleporting bards, and evolved from there until the aspect of travel became the main aesthetic. What's more bardic than serenading your friends to march (or sneak) through the forest more effectively? Bards of this college believe that the best stories are found upon the open road, and thus they specialize in travel-based magic, even in planar travel, and especially in teleportation. Pay special attention to the level 14 feature, as skillful tactical use of this ability can make your allies feel unstoppable or enable some true shenanigans in the hands of cunning players.

"...On the road again..."

Actually, there's so many songs about being on the road. I guess bands, like adventuring groups, tend to travel.
