New Spell: Shield of Vanity
Shield of Vanity is a nifty little spell that lets paladins, bards, clerics, and even artificers temporarily enchant their shield to be extra bright and shiny, and even a bit more magical! The reflective surface, when pointed at your foes, shows them a grand vision of themselves, encouraging feelings of jealousy and overconfidence that drives them to attack the bearer of the shield. Or maybe they just want it for its shininess!

This spell was originally posted on reddit over a month ago, and it’s recieved a few tweaks since then. You’ll notice that because of this, the bottom right corner shows this material as version 1.1 rather than 1.0. When it appears in the compendium, however, it will be considered a new release and will be, like everything else, 2.0.
The compendium, of course, is Legends of Prestige and Prowess, which contains among its many wonderful subclass and prestige class goodies numerous thematic new spells like this one.
